I would assume he would be fired but who knows.

Its such a shame all the noodles went to the landfill when a ton of it could of been given to hungry people

Pretty sure there's a college nearby there. Would've been free clean up. Just byob. (Bring your own bowl.)

The news story said that they were coated with diesel...it appears from one reporter's on scene camera shot that he hit it with the steer axle and proceeded all along the truck until the bridge caught the middle of the trailer and split open like an egg at the waffle house. Both rear axles were kinda pointing backwards at a 45° angle. He's lucky it wasn't deep fried ramen noodles with a side of roast truck driver as hard as he musta' hit.

Well, hopefully it was just the Pork flavored. That's my least favorite!

Besides being a honest person, Why did he tell on himself to the media and to the cops, I guess that road doesn't have wild life crossing or pot holes to blame.

Worse things could of happened, But it did not and threw himself under the bus.

Career Suicide ??? Any opinions ?

Maybe so. I saw the clip of his brief interview, he was, understandably, a little depressed...my company forbids me from talking to anyone other than name, rank and seria....oh wait, that was the army..but still, we are to provide no ammunition for anyone by opening our mouths and inserting one or both feet. Secure the scene, tend to any injured and hand the cop our truck and insurance info along with our DL and a copy of our attorney's contact info.

Heck, I was taught that in CDL School and thought that was the unwritten general rule 101.
