Ohh thats what that was. I drove past that accident a couple hours ago but all the emergency vehicles were blocking my view of the truck. Im right there at the pilot here in Dallas. Camping out for the night waiting on a load. Man this freezing rain crap is worse than any snow i have driven through.

Yeah, freezing rain kinda sucks! I don't mind it this time because it's the first real weather I've seen in a long time (after living in SoCal for years). I love weather!

I grew up in the Northeast and I live in SoCal now for a reason. Not really helping me much at the moment though... I'm sitting in Atlanta waiting out the same storm rolling through here now. Go figure... "ice/snow" and the I-20 corridor don't really mix well. Who woulda thought?

Dallas is real bad tonight. Just a couple hours ago on i-20 west I saw a pickup start spinning right in front of me while we were both going about 25 mph.

That's what happens here in Dallas =\

There was a crew of 2 or 3 jeeps (rubicons i think) that hooked together to pull a Werner out of the ditch.

Also saw what I believe was a jackknife on central around 2pm as I was coming home from the DMV (which was closed D:)

I also saw a bobtail car hauler loose traction on an overpass and get sandwiched in between the barriers.

Here's the story about the dallas jeep club pulling people out http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2015/02/23/jeep-club-comes-to-the-rescue-of-north-texas-drivers/

Brought my truck to Ft Worth FL Thurs for a couple "minor" things... Fri they adjusted the idle. One thing fixed. No regular work on the weekends.
Monday and pbly Tue... no techs were/are at work. Just too icy to bother going anywhere. .more snow, then a warmup, then more ice is expected. The one guy there said there was very little traffic on the 820 and going very slowly. Ft Worth and Dallas have 4 to 5 levels of overpasses that especially ice up during the rain/freeze/sleet/icey weather we're having.
I had my boyfriend pick me up at Freightliner. Much cheaper to wait at home for repairs than a motel.
Seems like we get one week of really crappy weather every winter.

Not to be that guy, but there's a lot worse he could've done in terms of hanging off bridges and soiling pants in the DFW area, I point to he 35W S bridge for instance, because everyone needs to be 100 ft in the air with guard rails that don't even come up to your ankles.
