Ugly one on 80/94 near Gary this morning

    I can't find any news about it yet, does anyone know anything about the 2 truck accident on eastbound 80/94 this morning? I came by westbound as the tow trucks were leaving, one truck seemed to be ok but the second truck was hauled off by 3 tow trucks. A flatbed was hauling the steer axle and hood. A hook truck had what's left of the chassis and trailer and another flatbed had the cab.

    I took 57 S out of Chicago and cut back through the woods to 65 S to avoid this. Was a mess up there yesterday. 90 E had a truck jackknifed in the cash box, all other major roads had multiple wrecks...somehow I got out.

    Yeah it was a nightmare up there I had 4 stops yesterday inside the tri state took 10 hours to get it all done and be on my way back out

    From what i heard it had just barly happened as i got 65 S but i know it was a mess up there and the way people where driving was unreal.
    I was east on 90 seen a silver pickup go by me about 5 min later a cop went by then he flipped on lights and that pickup had jumped up on to the concrete median barriers. Seen three more wrecks in less than 30 miles it was a bad day for some.
    Hope the drivers made it.

    I saw it going up through Chicago area that morning, looked like the cab of the tanker was completely missing... It was a total mess around there.
