Rolled into and out of St Regis MT I90 weigh station-- observed tow trucks pulling a reefer semi back up onto the parking lot from the grass, evidently he parked and failed to set the brakes, the truck parked itself in the ditch.

It could be his brakes where hot from decending the mountain. Thats the scale in the median?

I did that once but I was a rookie. I was still in my truck sitting in drive seat doing paper work. I felt like I was moving and I was. I pulled my break b4 I did any damage. It scared me and I never forgotten since.

I was at a blue beacon the other day getting a trailer wash out. I pulled into the bay and stopped. The guy were pointing at my bumper and laughing....so I got out and asked what was so funny... They said the truck had moved really slow about 3 feet from where they stopped me. I went back and checked and sure enough I hadn't pulled the brake.... That won't happen again.... I was concerned with my paperwork and didn't set the brake.....no harm no foul but lesson learned....
