"According to DPS trooper Harper Meyers, a semi truck hit a
bridge support, bringing down the overpass that was under
    construction."

    Hmmmmmmm ------
Kinda sounds like the CRE Big truck set the chain of events
in motion to begin with resulting in how the event ended.
    Tragically.
    Sadly.

Second story said it was an Oversized truck. They weren't sure if the truck was too high, or if the load was too high. This may have been the result of somebody screwing up the permits and sending the truck on a route he couldn't fit on. That would be an official boo boo on DPS's side of the equation (I think it's DPS that issues the permits, anyway.)

    AfterShock Thanks this.

I'm just not seeing any signs of an OS load from the pics, so far.
There's an empty deck flatbed going opposite direction of the CRE, but no signs of strapping/securement hanging off his rub-rails.

Unless the OS load is outside of the pic's view?

    UKJ Thanks this.
