After having been in a fatal head-on, that may have been a suicide, but when the state patrol knew that the vehicle was clearly in my lane, they did a routine inspection, but nothing too indepth.

That was deliberate seeing as how the car hit the truck dead center. No mistake about it, that was a suicide. I hope the driver can sleep at night, I would keep seeing that as I closed my eyes if it were me. Not sure I would say I want the driver of the car to have suffered, there's a lot of pain going on when someone decides its time to buy the farm. Unfortunately, there's really no way to prevent this kind of thing from happening. But thankfully the truck driver got out. That was nasty.

Hope the driver of the car burned above ground so he will be used to burning in hell for this cowardly act.

I hate to say it but it seems like this is becoming a more and present dangerous problem occurring every week and needs to be really taken seriously by all involved in transportation field.

That old snow blade is maybe the best old school idea that works really well but not sure DOT will approve it or allow it.

There is one problem with the idea that has to be confirmed and proved.
Will it with stand a front end blow from a car traveling 150+mph coming straight at you and you doing 75mph in a truck.
We need the myth busters and DOT and Trucking companies on board on this one.

wow...some of you are just vicious about this....i already stated early on how awful it was....but to wish someone to burn to death...thats horrible....i dont condone using someone else to commit suicide, not in the least, but wishing a painful death on someone??

The dirt bag driving the car attempted to kill the driver of the truck. He deserves what he gets and yes I hope its painful.

I have no sympathy for those that deliberately attempt to injure of kill others.

Actually the mythbusters did a head on truck-to-truck crash...they found out that the asumption of doubling the speed energy is inacurate....each vehicle only suffered from damage from the equivalent energy of their own speed (as if they hit a solid wall at what ever speed they were doing)...it caught the myth-boys by surprise too

I don't think cowardly is the correct word. This is a self-centered sociopath who was not absent the ability to commit homicide and who was also either severely depressed or about to be cornered by law and had nothing to lose. Nothing cowardly about that individual.
