I agree..this is ridiculous and uncalled for...I'm beginning to think the 4 wheelers are safer than these fools driving these big trucks...it's embarrassing to say the least..

In all seriousness, do you really need a CB radio to alert you when simply watching the road and your surroundings is all you need to do to avoid the situation entirely?

That's what I'm thinking. ..cb radio don't cause this...in attentiveness is the cause and driving too fast for conditions too.

What's with the name-shaming? It was an accident, if you guys know anything it's that accidents happen. I hope the ones affected by the crash get well quickly.

I don't know anyone personally that has never done anything stupid behind the wheel. I see it every single day, people with 1 million+ safe miles on the side of their cabs texting, eating while driving, speeding and assorted other things. It has nothing to do with the carrier's name on the side of their vehicle. And the main cause of any non impaired accident will always be driving to fast for conditions.

The weather has been getting crazier and crazier over the years and the amount of drivers on the road has exploded. You don't remember pileups like this years and years ago because news media was less informed, and the pipelines of communication were much less developed. We shouldn't be trying to shame these guys, or make them look like bandits. We should be hoping they make it out with their heads above water instead of losing their home to some cutthroat lawyer, and hoping that those of us still on the road are being safe.

Sorry. ..but they're to blame allright...driving too fast for conditions and not paying attention. ...every one of those fools who wrecked are liable..and at fault...there's no excuse for this mess especially just days after another pile up just down the same highway. ..
