I was bobtailing home on I-15 from Fontana last night when I started getting passed by a bunch of Riverside County Sherrif and CHP officers in a big #### hurrry. I turned on the police scanner app on my phone and found out this chase was 10-15 miles ahead of me running in the same direction so I more or less got the full play by play. Moral of the story here: Don't drive drunk and #### sure don't do it while stealing a big truck.

When I watched the video and heard that he only got up to 40MPH my first thought was that he had stolen a Prime truck

Yup... it's called "5-0 Radio Pro". It actually has scanner feeds from Police, Fire and a bunch of State/Local Highway departments. I think it cost 2 or 3 bucks or there's a free version with ads and fewer scanner feeds.

I was listening as they were chasing him... he WAS doing between 70 and 75 until they spiked him. Then he was doing 50 for awhile until they spiked him again. It took that idiot another 10 minutes at 5-10 mph to figure out he wasn't going to outrun the cops with no tires. I just wish he got out and tried to run... the K9 officer warned all the others several times that if the driver ran he would "immediately deploy the K9". That could've got real nasty real quick.

    icsheeple and baha Thank this.

I wonder if that DUI driver got the idea from an old Garth Brooks tune?
