Not a crash, but might check the news before a Baltimore stop

My thoughts were the same about "go ahead and try and stop this 80k truck from moving. Won't go well for Ya" but then....in light of recent events in GA I thought it might be in poor taste for me to say it. All seems quiet down here near BWI. Can't speak for any other areas though.

 

No combat pay. Oddly enough, when I called in to dispatch to see what, if any thoughts they had on the matter the advice given was 'keep your doors locked, head on a swivel, be aware of your surroundings'....I thought that was a 24/7 sorta thing lol.

No, seriously...the really funny part was "call the police if you think there is a problem".
Hmmm....I think they are a little too busy right now to be responding to 'possible' situations. Just saying. 😳

 

It might be a good idea to avoid Baltimore for awhile. This is not over yet.
The Media is not reporting the truth about what is happening there.

 

Lets go smash crap and destroy our own community, we are soooo oppressed. This has gotten to the point of stupidity and it really needs to stop. Ever see a RIOT that destroyed everything many worked all their lives for make sense ?

 

Let's destroy cop cars and burn down buildings, then months later ask why land value dip and taxes were raise. Cause and effect people but some people are just uneducated and only look 3 feet in front of them

 

That's why that area is sometimes called Bodymore, Murderland. I've always hated that place even in its most peaceful days.

We have a regular dedicated down to Bmore Curtis Bay area, so not near the riots at all. BUT all deliveries have been cancelled for this week because of the rioting.

 

Had a drop in Bethesda this morning but dispatch called me last night to warn me not to get to close and said if anything seems wrong just call we'll reschedule. Made my drop went got a new ld and cruised right though Baltimore no problems.
