A bad way to leave earth, prayers for all his family, blocks of hard wood can hold up a truck if jack stands arent handy?
OldHasBeen Thanks this. -
Anyone besides me notice the guys last name ?

Scary. When I start jacking my front end up for maintenance I've already planned on using jack stands to support the axle and I'll apply just slight pressure with the jack for a third support. I will also use two wheel chocks.
My heart goes out to the family. -
I never worked on a truck at home, but worked on many a pickup and car in my yard. Never used jack stands for I usually used blocks of wood to hold it up. Never trusted a jack, especially in the past when most had bumper jacks, the bumper jacks always seemed very dangerous even when changing a flat tire. Yet always made sure all the wheels that were on the ground were securely chocked. For when one is jacked up if it moves a fraction of an inch and your under it it can come down of top of you.
Yet we all make mistakes, especially if we are in a hurry to get it going. -
Condolences to his family. RIP driver.
