A semi-truck is hit by a train in Bonneville County after the truck driver doesn't stop at a stop sign.
The crash happened on Iona road near the Wright Brothers truck stop around 11 o'clock Wednesday morning.
According to the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office, the train hit the back end of the semi's trailer after the driver failed to stop at the railroad tracks.
Both the trailer and train received minor damage.
Law enforcement say's no one was injured in the accident, which is really lucky in a train versus vehicle accident.
Sgt. Doug Metcalf, Bonneville Co. Sheriff's Office: "Your 90 times more likely to die in those collisions. You know, every 120 minutes there's a train-car collision in the United States and we're very lucky that there's no injuries, just property damage in this collision."
The sheriff's office says that speed was not a factor in the wreck.
The driver of semi was cited with failure to yield to a train.
