Hmmmm.....interesting...looks like I need to do some more research into TX law....I just can't keep up! They are inventing new ones faster than I can train drivers on the old ones.....thanks!!

I would think it would be common sense, nothing like telling the folks in the scale that you have an older truck like a rainbow of IFTA stickers down the side, to improve your chances of being inspected!

I've only ever shown the most current one, either putting it on top of the old one, or once it was a few layers thick, peelling off the old ones and putting the new one in that spot.

This driver didn't have a long row of them...he had a couple years worth, and another driver for another company saw them when they were both at the same truckstop...and warned my driver about it. So, he asked me...but, could be law, could be truckstop BS....who knows....but if they are "legally requiring" all drivers to ONLY display the current sticker, and issuing violations to those who have more than that, even one more, then I need to know...one way or the other...

Just got inspected in Texas the other day. There are two IFTA stickers on there. This years and the previous. Didn't say anything about it at all. He however did try to tell me that my truck and trailer inspection stickers were expired. I politely asked him to check again and he noted that they were current. I was then issued a warning for a "loose" torsion bar on the trailer. Passed the inspection though.

As I rolled through a Georgia scale the other day, they were out looking for IFTA stickers.

I just purchased travel permit to Sparks, NV and copy and pasted what I found on internet below. I have California Apportioned IRP Plates and Cab Card, so did I waste my money on Trip Permit??? Do I need an IFTA Sticker still I don't have one???

    Full Reciprocity

Beginning in 2015, cab-cards will show all jurisdictions! No more "add state or province". No more "over 100 percent fees" for added jurisdictions. If you have IRP, no more trip permits. This is true IRP-wide. All states and provinces will be implementing this. This has been referred to as Full Reciprocity or the Full Reciprocity Plan and was adopted by IRP ballot in October 2013.
