You can use a regular RODS for your 'Time Record', a long as you remember to treat it that way. When the man asks for your book you have to say 'I'm exempt under the 100 air miles'. Then if you do go over you have a grid to draw a log on for that day.

Line 4 from midnight till you start, line 1 while you are working, and back to line 4 when you stop. Mark each end of h on duty line w/ the same city/state to show you returned to your work reporting location & write time record in between the start - stop times.

We did them this way so we could scan the 100air mile guys at the same place doing my OTR logs.

Lines 1 & 2 are off duty and sleeper berth.
Lines 3 & 4 are driving and on-duty not driving
    You have it backwards.
