The lower the number the better the rating.

I posted somewhere else. My take is they figure out the company # of drivers vs # of violations to come up with a percentage. Then you are being compared against other companies with that data and the ranking is where you fall there. 25% or below is good, 50% so so, above 70-75% and the DOT is stepping in. You won't see any 90-100% because they'll be shut down before then.

My company has critical scores in the high 80's. I'm glad I'm on medical leave. :)

The first thing they'll see is increased inspections and closer look audits. If they can't get the numbers down, then they'll be shut down.

I drove for a 15 truck operation out of Wisconsin. I 'm not gonna name them. Potato haulers. Lucky for me NONE of the accidents, tickets or other nonsense involved me. They've been bad news for years. I got hurt due to a mechanical issue on the trailer......law suit pending. Their gonna burn

well my company has unsafe driving flagged as ALERT. not good. funny part is the main violation is no sealbelts and speeding. the trucks are governed at 64mph. how the hell do u speed at 64 mph??? and why oh why would u not wear a sealbelt?

64 is still speeding in a 55 zone. and you can get popped for speeding thru towns. There are still spots in Illinois and Ohio where it's 55 bro and elsewhere
