we both have clean PSP reports but drove for IDC last year and they said they were losing a lot of drivers when CSA took effect...(came from safety man not another driver)...and i thought it was 36 mo. driver and 24 mo carrier...will have to look it up again....i am subscribed to CSA email alerts...did it last year to "keep up"....

Unless things have changed, any points stay with the driver for 36 months and the carrier for 30 months.

Well let me change that for you. I was fired yesterday! Helluva thing. Mostly because of the sub standard p.o.s i was driving. Interested to see now if it hinders me from getting a new job. Been wanting to quit this job for a while, should have followed my instinct. Now they have me fubared.

I can see why you got fired. I'd fire you just for bringing up a thread that was over a year old.

yea you will keep your license but no one will hire you. companies now even though the need for drivers are great. will not hire you or will even fire you for your csa score. getting another job is almost impossible because not only do you get points your company does as well.

Ok, I have a question. I went through a Level 3 inspection and they said the license plate on the truck was registered to another truck. The officer did not give me a ticket but it's on the inspection report. I take it, it's now on my CSA. The owner of the truck says he knew nothing about it, his truck, mind you. I have a new registration in the window for new plates. How can I get this removed from my CSA?

    You don't driver. Your screwed.

Google is your friend. BUT, it's you against the cop. And guess who wins. The csa itself, won't do anything for you. They just pass your dispute to the cop.

Truck drivers do not have CSA scores. Only companies do. This is like a broken record thread.

Forgot to mention. It's the drivers responsibility to make sure the truck papers are in order. Which means verifying the registration and plate. INsurance and IFTA are current. And any states you roam through, like oregon and new mexico and whatever states on the east.

New mexico will sell you trip permits. Trinidad colorado will make sure you have new mexico permit. Oregon will fine you $400 if you don't have trip permit or annual BEFORE rolling across the state line.
