I received a photo radar ticket for running a red light in Tucson AZ. I am wondering if I just pay this fine will there be a record on my MVR. I understand the City of Tucson will access points on my license but I have been told that it will not appear on my MVR for the State of Arizona. I was hoping someone might have some insight. Thanks.

If you ask me that is a pretty serious offence.. I would try to get the charged dropped or lowered to some lesser offence... Running a red light is not a good ticket to have and it will def cost you points on your licence and it will show on your driving record....

Red light tickets are charged to the vehicle, not the driver. You should be ok.

This varies from state to state. In Maryland, a ticket issued from a camera location is classified as a civil offense, not a criminal and when you receive the ticket in the mail, you pay it and forget about it. No points!
