    i do matter fact, but i believe that is for the inspection done at the chp office by their officers..correct me if im wrong..

    i was thinking of something to keep on my files and/or the truck as well... i currently have a very simple not so practical form and just attach the receipts to it....

    The CHP 108 is the form that the CHP supply's to motor carriers for the purpose of keeping the Inspection, Maintenance and Lubrication records required for the BIT Program. The forms that the officers and Motor Carrier Specialists (BIT inspectors) use are completely different. (Take it from a 29 year (now retired) CHP officer.

    oh ok... thanks for the info... just thought it was for a different use.. thanks for the correction..

    And very nice to have you here, i bet you are of great help to this forum... it has always been my dream to be part of the chp... got a couple of good friends working for different agencies, chp definitely top notch in my opinion.. kuddos to you..

    Hello Officer, I work for a Carrier as Supervisor Independent Contractor, Do i have to be certified to do safety inspection/ periodical Inspection for the company ? If Yes do i have to get Certified or what do i have to have to do it legally. As well i heard i need to have some kind of stickers. Can you please help me out here. Year ago i was certified with Drug and Alcohol Compliance. For how long these certificate last ?
