Cops seem to think they are above the law.. I am glad there is a state trooper that has no problem arresting a fellow officer....

We had this happen in Ontario... A OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) Officer pulled a fellow OPP officer over (in a unmarked) for doing the same thing.. Speeding!!!!!

It's time these un law abiding police are pulled over, charged and arrested for breaking the very laws they are suppose to enforce.. The problem is most police officers (doesn't matter if they work for State, Provincial, or Federal) will protect there own and turn a blind eye to the incidents..

It's like I see lots of police texting, speeding, running lights etc..... Meanwhile I bet ya any money as soon as they see someone else doing that is not an officer they will have no issues pulling that person over for the exact thing they were just doing.. It makes me pissed off...

Problem is if you try to report something like this yourself to the police department most of the time nothing will happen they will just tell you they will take care of it.. Or if things like this go to court it seems like most of the time they happen to "loose" the paperwork somehow..

A cop violating the laws should not get a ticket, should not get a trial, they should be "terminated" on the spot. Abuse the power take a double tap from a sidearm.

She thought someone stole the cop car is why she acted the way she did. Cops drive one certain way and she knew that. Had she known it was a bad driving cop, she would probably gave him an escort.

She didn't know what to expect.. She didn't know if it was stolen or if a cop was driving it.. She drew the gun as a safety measure... I would like to hope she wouldn't have escorted him if she knew he was a cop because if it was something he needed to get to fast then he would (or should) have had his lights flashing to aware drivers around him.. It was a non emergency thing he was going to (off-duty or paid-duty job) so he didn't require the lights so he wouldn't require a escort.. Even if he was in a hurry a lot of times if it say a chase gets to certain speeds or in populated areas that are suppose to shut down the chase if it will endanger the public if the chase continues.. 120mph (200km/h) is a ridiculous speed to go.. No excuse for that kind of speed or weaving in and out of traffic !!!!! Cops should be held more accountable for ridiculous stuff like this as they should know better !!!! I am glad she pulled him over and arrested him...

I agree with your general premise that law enforcement officers should be held to a higher standard when it comes to obeying the laws. I wish that they would even hold themselves to that higher standard - instead of their unions often taking up for officers who are so obviously guilty of wrongdoing. BUT...

Even though I agree with you about the higher standards, for you to suggest that police officers who violate the law should basically be executed "on the spot" is bizarre, radical, and disturbing.

DK, it may sound harsh, but we have got to the point in society we have by making allowances for people. The quickest way to make a change is with harsh measures.

The most comprehensive way to make a change is to end the cultural institution that teaches people like you to think, "You fail, you die."

It's all cute and righteous until you become the failure.
