hey guys and gals
one of our drivers just got pulled by Massachusetts DOT and was given a written warning for doing 71 in a 65 on I-495 and also the company got a ticket for an expired overweight permit on the trailer...luckily he only was only 85,000 gross $300 ticket for that well the driver was asking me if i knew if he could get points on his csa because of the warning or the expired permit...i told him i have no idea so i come to u guys for answers.
any help would be greatly appreciated

If he was given an inspection at the same time he got the ticket then yes, he gets the csa points. If he got the ticket and there was no inspection then he gets no csa points.
fisher guy Thanks this. -
he was given no inspection just a quick walk around he noticed a marker light out but did not say anything about it
-
another quick question i like to run about 5-6k overweight paid by the ton and i have the heaviest truck in the fleet does that count against CSA? ive heard it go both ways
-
If a inspection is completed and handed to you on the side of the road. A level I,II or III inspection, then yes all violations will have some implications with CSA. -
