First Thanks for the thread.. I had a few quick questions...Its easy to see online that gordon, crenglund, schneider and jb hunt do folicle testing.. Is there anymore that you know off like for say usxpress werner or swift( seems like a bad idea to ask a recruiter)?..I did something bad beginning of march and was going to apply somewhere and get into an orientation by the mid of july. Also I had shaved my head beginning of may and now its almost an inch long..How long does it have to be for them to take a sample off my scalp? Im no addict but did have a small bender...I worry about my hair not being long enough on my scalp and them taking it from my arm or chest or something since that hair never seems to grow..local hair drug testing says they only need about an inch, is that the same with these carriers?sorry if you answered this stuff already but theres alot to read thanks...

Thanks for your questions. As for the companies that do hair testing, one that comes to mind that I know does that you didn't list is McLane. As for others, I'm not sure. Perhaps others can chime in and let us know of others that do hair testing.
As for the amount of hair needed, the rule of thumb is 1 1/2 inches. But they can and do routinely do it with less. They just collect more from multiple spots, etc. However, they prefer 1 1/2 inches as that gives them enough for the desired detection window.
If they do take arm or chest hair, you'll probably wind up with a positive if you last used in May as they say the detection window for arm and chest hair is about 6 months.
Chances are that you'll provide your sample to a local collection site and they'll forward it to the lab used by the particular employer. Most employers have a database of approved collection sites and they'll send you to one of those. The amount of hair required for adequate testing should not vary much from collection site to collection site as it is the labs that tell the collectors how much they need and that is pretty standard across the board.

90Xray is correct.
The purpose of this thread is to talk about drug and alcohol TESTING and nothing stated here should be interpreted as legal advice or taken in such a way as to imply that it's okay to operate a CMV, or any other vehicle for that matter, under the influence of a drug or alcohol.

I'm not sure who Dr. McDouglas, MD is or if your question is really a serious one or not.
But, just FYI, here's a link to information about Marinol (Dronadinol) and it's on-label uses: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000403/
I didn't see a mention of it being used to treat liver failure, but perhaps that is an "off-label use". I've only ever encountered it being prescribed to cancer patients who were receiving chemotherapy.

I have tried to find any information i can on; is there any way to get a failed drug test using meth. off your dac, or to where you can go back to driving. Classes, random drug test, etc. driving is my passion and i made a stupid mistake and a bad time in my life. There is no excuse for it. Also, not for me but i know an aquantance who failed they said meth, he doesn't do meth , however with the new test they are running is it possible that it could have something to do with viagra, over the counter stemulants, or such things bought thru the mail.

Here's a new twist............
http://dailycaller.com/2012/06/21/ba...na-urine-test/
The research into identifying baby soap and shampoos as potential reasons for creating false positives for THC was led by researchers from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Researchers noticed potential false positives at UNC and began testing various soaps and shampoos to identify what was responsible for the false positives for THC.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...pilot_episodes Yes, it has been proven that poppy seeds can and will cause an initial false positive. However, the gas chromatography technology has improved that this can usually be ruled out on a split sample. As a steward, I actually had to defend a person on this. And, I won his job and back pay back.
