The renegade companies/owner oprators will be put of of business..I can see companies like CRST, Prime, Celadon, Cr England and the list goes on forever..Just keep your CDL intact and clean... and as soon as these (companies) safety records hit the numbers their eliminated!! cant wait!!

Thing is that a good portion of those CSA points come from driver errors/failures. If all drivers kept themselves clean, then the companies would have a better record too.

exactly! If the drivers stay good little truckers like the OP sugested the companies wouldnt get any points. Most points are earned by their drivers stupidity. Even the ones they get on their own are still a result of the drivers.

Absolutely! Do your inspections, make sure your log book is good, don't speed, etc, and you stay clean and so does the company.

We have been told this for years:biggrin_25523: .

De-regulation ? Will mean more money for drivers:Traffic lights:.
CDL's ? Will mean more money for drivers:Automobile loan:.
Open up the borders to trucking ? Will mean more freight for drivers:Straight road:.

Has not worked yet, has it ?:biggrin_25513:

It's good to be back on here! Finally got things straightened out with my back, and now it's time to get myself back into things. Gotta take it slow though!

In the words of a former member: WOOT! WOOT!! Great to hear that news. It's okay if you type slow. I will just read your posts slow and we'll be even. Heh...

Regarding the O/P: When is everyone going to realize that the CSA scores of the larger companies tend to be lower than those of medium sized companies? Celadon, JB Hunt, Werner, Swift and Prime aren't going anywhere. It's the noncompliant "cowboy" companies that will go bye-bye.

What "NEW" CSA rules? The rules are the same as they have always been. The only differance is that they now can intervene sooner as the inspection reports are updated and calculated monthly in the 7 basics.
