Was stopped in childress tx the other day and dot officer gave me a ticket for false log cause I started out the day an hour earlier than what was logged and also said couldn't log 340 miles in 5.25 hours so I was put out of service for 8hrs got impatient and left after 3 hrs he busted me trying to make a run for it anyone know if I could lose my license for this or just pay fines.

Seems to me that if you are running 65mph, 340 miles would take exactly 5.25 hrs!!!!:biggrin_2552:

    Hook line and sinker.

Just on the off chance your not trying to be funny if you did try and" make a run for it"

Category 2: The first violation results in a disqualification of no less than 180 days or more than 1 year. The second violation within 10 years results in a disqualification of no less than 2 years or more than 5 years results in a disqualification of no less than 2 years or more than 5 years The third and subsequent violations result in disqualifications of no less than 3 years or more than 5 years a CDL holder is disqualified from operating a CMV, the State may issue m/her a license to operate a non-CMV. Drivers who are disqualified from erating a CMV can not be issued a "conditional" or "hardship" CDL or y other type of limited driving privileges to continue driving a CMV.

So if your not a troll practice the phrase "Shined to a mirror finish". That will be the only way to get close to a truck for at least the next 6 months to a year.
