Never seen it enforced while i was there my DBL would call me Knowing I was driving and had to tell him a few times I gotta go and just hung up on him a few times when traffic was bad. Most of the time he got straight to the point of what he needed. May be different there now with the new law.

Employers can make any rule they want !!
You have the choice of not working there.
Alot of drivers, currently sitting in prison,
wished they never had used their cell phone while driving !!!

Doesn't mean a thing OPP are the most incompetent LEO's I've ever seen anywhere . The main reason the Speed Limiter Law came about in Ontario was due to lack of enforcement of speed laws .
I've seen OPP on on ramps to the 401 in Toronto during rush hour just sit and watch 4 wheelers cut out of the right lane , speed up the on ramp , then cut back into the right lane , usually right in front of a big truck .
I saw the OPP escorting a heavy oversize on the 401 running the speed limit . The truck stayed less than 3 car lengths behind the OPP.

The use of hand held CB's will be banned in Ontario eventually .
http://www.ontruck.org/imispublic/Ho...ContentID=5050Perhaps the most controversial aspect of the new law as it pertains to trucking is the introduction of a a time limited 3 year phase-out Citizen Band Radios (CB’s) and two-way radios. These devices present a particular challenge since the receiver unit and communications unit are separate from each other and connected by a cord. They currently require a driver to hold down the handset button to talk. The three-year phase-out is designed to allow for hands-free technologies to be developed. However, OTA has been informed by Ministry Officials that should no suitable technology be readily available to replace CB’s and two-way radios within the 3 year timeframe there may exist the possibility of further extension of the phase out until such a time as the technology becomes available.

RICK G why do you respond to ANYTHING I post in a PEEING CONTEST type of response.
My post had nothing to do with ANYONES opinion of the OPP or yours on the SPEED LIMITER law , just noted the fact that OTHERS on here UNAWARE of the law up there could get a $155.00 fine.
