They have a large tent set up along with 2 or 3 RV's at the east bound scale on I-24 in Winchester, TN.

Space is somewhat limited at Winchester. I have seen them set up at the brake check area on Monteagle, but didn't notice any activity this time. I have no idea how aggressive they plan on being. It isn't hard to go around that scale if you are concerned.

Break break. Rest areas in AL on I85. All trucks must enter. DOT waiting on ya, and they are off the chain today. In any event, guess who has two thumbs and just earned 50 bucks for a clean level 1? This guy.

Rest area westbound I90 in Idaho just a few couple miles before the Love's and J which are at Exit 2, so about Exit 5 or something. Anyway, they pull in ALL trucks. There were swarms of DOT guys on creepers and bending over steer tires with hoods up everywhere. Rest area was plumb full of trucks, the 'directing' DOT guy saw the green '2' in my windshield and waved me through to the interstate sans inspection. I stopped at the Love's and got 2 new drive tires anyway. Walking the dog near the fence, I see blue and red lights, they had pulled over a hotshot 1 ton Ford with a loaded flat trailer who had tried to sneak past the rest area unnoticed. DOT came down hard on the guy because a towtruck showed up soon after.
