Hey guys, happy tanksgiving to all, alright, here's my question, service violation? does any of you guys have been put out service?(sorry for misspelling word), here's my story, on october 22, 2012,i delivered a load in syracuse ny, so after that i wasthere almost a week waiting for a load( i do household goods), so anyways, i was parked at the pilot off 90 trnpike, liverpool, so after 6 days been there, i droped my trailer at the pilot, i went to walmart, but on the way back to the truck stop, there was a state trooper at the toll both, so he pulled over for inspection, but the thing is i didnt have my logbook current, so they put me out service, they didnt gave a ticket, just the inspection sheet, wich says, so my question is is this WILL show on my driver record? I been in the industry for over 12 years, never had any speeding ticket, accidents, or any other major violations, will they hire me? i'm scary about leave this company and not get hired, tanks a lot guys, be safe out there

It will show on yours and your companies CSA.

How bad is this?

It's 15 points plus 2 for the OOS. So 17 total. Not terrible if that's all you got on your record. Being recent might sting more than anything else.

ps:I couldn't imagine 6 minutes @ a Peelot, you were there 6 days. -
I don't think you are screwed. Just apply to some companies and see what they say. Just don't talk to the recruiters ask to talk to someone in safety because they usually have the final say so if you will be hired or not.
