I take anti depressants (Lexapro) and Xanax XR for another condition.. not depression. My Dr has me down as anxiety, so he can prescribe them. I take them to help absorb B12 due to a acid reflux surgery I had. I have been taking both for over 5 years. Am I able to pass the medical exam for the TX CDL??

call a local clinic that does dot exams. they would know the best answer.

there have been a lot of schools that turn people away for being on any type of medication though.

It depends on what medication youre on. The DOT has a whole page of meds that you cannot take, Im being treated by the VA for PTSD and bi- polar disorder. My shrink had to taylor my meds so I could work, he also had to write a letter statimg I was not a danger to anyone so I could get my medical card.
