I was talking to another trucker about having just gotten my doubles endorsement, and he said that the more endorsements you have, the higher your fines will be if you ever receive a violation (speeding, unsafe driving, etc). I have Haz-Mat too, and I was also considering getting my tanker endorsement to get the X endorsement. I know that you'll face higher fines for speeding in a tanker with flammable substances, but is it true that fines are higher if you have more endorsements, even if you're just pulling regular freight in a normal 53-footer?

Wow where do they come up with this stupidity ? The answer is no this is not true . The fine goes by the infraction of the rules not the endorsements .

my 20 over in CA was the same price as my 11 over in wyoming.

learned a lesson in CA though. at the top the speed drops for the downhill side. LOL

i was empty so i wasn't in the slow moving lane. and when i got to the top. i had no place to merge cuz the whole uphill climb was packed with slow moving trucks.
