Electronic logging notice on the move at DOT
A proposal that calls for truckers to log their hours electronically instead of by paper logs is on the move, at least internally within the U.S. Department of Transportation. The FMCSAs supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking advanced to the DOTs Office of the Secretary of Transportation on June 7.

Just like they said when I got my license for tax preparation. Said it was permanent. 2 years later, I have to spend 200.00 a year for continuing education and then every 4 years pay to renew it.
Got to love government. -
I would want one in my truck then I'd have an excuse with whoever I'm pulling for to not work so hard lol

Had to renew the paramedic license and if you are in an area over a certain level, you have to pay to renew. Fire Department will reimburse, but causes paperwork.
Since I do not get paid, all volunteer, I attached a statement declaring and they waived the fee.
