My two cents...
I was a cummins guy till I purchased a 2012 Cascadia with isx cm2250. Just got my truck out of shop. Had an overhaul done at only 482k. Oil consumprion was out of control. After reading a Rawze post I figured I should get it into shop ASAP while still under warranty. Thank goodness it was all covered except for main barrings. BE VERY AWARE of the cm2250. Bad design. Carbon builds in in pinions and destroys linings. The service manager at freightliner told me he is seeing it a lot with these engines. He said there is nothing he knows to prevent it.
