60HR/7DAYS -- wanted to verify that I'm ok on recap,, 99.9% sure im good, but I'm at the point of over-thinking and second guessing and just want to make sure I got it right, or didn't miss something. plus, first time recapping on 60/7

At 00:00 on Wednesday NOV 20, I pick up recap hours from the 13th, correct ? (The 18th and beyond is of course hypothetical hours since that's in the future)

Date - on duty hrs (day) hrs remaining on 60

    NOV 10-12 - (off duty/reset)
    NOV 13 - 10.25 (WED) 49.75/60
    NOV 14 - 10.25 (THU) 39.50/60
    NOV 15 - 12.50 (FRI) 27/60
    NOV 16 - 04.00 (SAT) 23/60
    NOV 17 - 00.00 (SUN) 23/60
    NOV 18 - 12.00 (MON) 11/60
    NOV 19 - 11.00 (TUE) 0/60
    NOV 20 - 00.00 +10.25 recap (WED)

    Thanks in advance!

    WRONG!! :biggrin_25522:

Between Saturday and Monday if you had 34 consecutive hours off duty and the two 1-5am thingy your hours reset to zero.

Unless you drive 3rd shift you are fresh driver! Drive your heart out all week. You just thought you were getting an extra day off! :)

Depends what time the driver went off duty on Sat and back on duty on Monday. Otherwise yes, got a restart.

Had over 34 hrs, but just missing out on my reset by two hrs, due to the silly 1am-5am thing!

That's why they should do away with that new rule. It's not fair to everyone.

This is a guess, not being able to see your logs -

If you did not get a restart on the 17th (0100-0500 twice) then you will maxx out your 60 on the 19th.

On the 20th you get back 10.25 hrs which puts you at 49.75 hrs in 7 consecutive days (14th-20th). Just watch your hours on the 20th.....

Yep that's the way I have it figured, thanks for the confirmation.

Was off duty 44 hours over the weekend, slept an actual 16hrs in that period, but can't get a reset because I had to log on duty at 3am the 18th.

Basically, the only thing this 1-5am reset BS did was tighten the screws on what would otherwise have been a relaxed 2600 mile round trip this week. Leave it to a bunch of bureaucrats to come up with something that stupid!

It's called job security. This year make a stupid rule. Next year get rid of it. :)

    I agree.

I think the 34 hr restart should go away, and we can get back to the 60/70 hr rules like they used to be.:yes2557:
