    Not many departments in Northern Illinois swap duty time for court time for nightshift workers. If you walk into the courthouse, you can easily find the nightshift cops. Just look for 'the walking dead' looking types - eyes glazed over like a KrispyKreme, vacant stare, shambling gait, generally 'meh' outlook. Overtime for court is the standard in the Chicago suburbs.
