Okay, sounds good to me.
But, if a shipper is sending a bunch of boxes on a skid, and some of those boxes have corrosive labels on them, than those items must be listed seperatly on the bill. Granted, you may not need to show placards because the weights of the items in question is below the weight requirements, but they still must be listed seperately on the bill of lading.
do you need hazmat endorsement to haul motor oil in a dry van.

I was pulled into an old servise station in louisiana week before last for a full dot inspection....he crawled over under around and checked every thing he could to find some thing wrong with my truck and trailer....nothing was wrong with my equipment.....then he informed me that my 6000 gallons of lube oil had to have placards... I respectfully dissagreed for several minutes and finally out of frustration I gave him a copy of my emergency response book and asked him to point out where lube oil was in the book and what placards I was to use.....he gave me a funny look and handed me back my stuff and told me to have a nice day.....I laughed for 200 miles....always be a professional and it sometmes helps....wonderman
