    i imagine they'll have state of the art CARB inspection also. Gettn' harder an harder for the old outlaws. Not me of course.

    A similar project was proposed, but not approved for I-40 at Needles. While it's not dead, it's pulse is very weak at this time.

    Not too much housing there, 7 miles on the Cal side from Primm, Nv. Guess they'll all live in Vegas, much closer than commuting from Baker, right ?

    At the top of the hill off of Bailey Rd, there is temporary housing for Cal Trans and CHP officers. They'll just do the same for POE personnel

    Someone should file a lawsuit against the State of California for all the extra pollution they are creating by having vehicles starting and stopping instead of steady-state cruising.
