Get one of those small digital clocks and put it on the dash and set it to the home terminal time. Your cell phone will change and you will forget to do the math so always use the dash clock.
Ruler????? Really????? I just make sure my start of the line and the end of the line are on the same time stamp. You don't have to be that anal.
The keep truckin app works fine until you run into those scales that do not have an office, let alone a fax machine. They let me go on that one but I went to the next store and bought a log book and have been using that ever since.

QUOTE=snowwy;4114610]there are logbook programs for android. don't know about apple. keeptrucking is a free program. just make sure to leave the dot field BLANK. it'll work without it. you fill it in. then the app will call your office and try to sell them on the program. you give the office permission, they can track your gps also. really neat program. and you defenitly can't beat the price OF FREE.
there are logbook programs for computer. i use trucklogger on my laptop.
you do need a printer though, but i'll take that over having to actually fill out paper.[/QUOTE]
