My friend told me it is. If your BMI is 35 or more and/or if your neck is 17 inches. I googled "sleep study required May 21, 2014" and nothing related comes up. This is why I think my friend is wrong. Can anybody who has gotten their medical card on or after May 21, 2014 elaborate?
Is a sleep study now required to get a medical card?

Technically if you get your Med Card outside of a company, on your own rather, they can't MAKE you take a sleep study which is what I pointed out to the lady when I got my Med Card. She was like since you're gonna be driving Fire Dept vehicles I won't make you take a sleep study and I told her that other than the BMI I do not present ANY of the symptoms for Sleep Apnea and I wasn't taking the study.
