Question for Michigan Cdl A holders

    Did you guys have to get the chauffeurs license along with the CDL A? Ive had my cdl for 2 yrs now and safety just called and said i needed it but no ones ever mentioned it before. 					I got my chauffeurs before my CDL because of a job I was trying to get (Which I didn't) but it was my understanding that your Class A covers B and C. I just looked at my license and it says "Lic Type CA" so now I'm not so sure. 					YOU need it BEFORE you get a CDL, if you have a CDL from out of state, I think you are exempt from that horribly long 5 or 10 question test and the $25 fee.
