    That's OK. I have had one yesterday and one today over 40,000# on tandems. Ouch.

    Explain what you are driving and what you are pulling. With 14,100 you must have your fifth wheel all the way up and a full tank of fuel. More than a 10k pound difference on axles? You shoudl really invest in an air suspension gauge. Lots of epic fails on your part. What position were you tandems if you were pulling a van? Lesson learned. What state was this?

    Slide that fifth wheel all the way back and you might get close. But yeah that was a bad ticket.

    On a spread axle trailer that would be legal. Bummer having a closed tandem in that case.

    Yes, I am the DOT bear at the chicken coop.

    I don't have a thread like that, I just throw my $.02 in from time to time. I am glad to answer any questions though.
