You have to show treatment if you have been diagnosed with Sleep apnea, you might be able to get a 90 day ticket from the doctor so you can drive and get the machine. Once you get the machine you will have to go back to a doctor and get a yearly physical. The first one will recertify you for the year. After 90 days you may be required to bring in the SD card from the machine to prove you are being compliant which is 4 hrs of use for 70% of the days in a 30 day period. This is about 21 days. It is a rolling 30 days. NOT month to month.
