Help!!! need to know how to handle this is....

Hi there, need your answers and experiences on this matter. Today I got into a rental truck because my truck was in the shop getting serviced. I was in a hurry to do my delivery that i forgot my logbook and didn't have my past previous days, I used one of those loose paperlogs for today. Well, I got stop in Idaho and got an inspection, everything else good, but I got hit with a violation, cop didn't put me OOS. So, here it is, I've been driving for a year this past month and this is my very first violation. Can you please tell me how it affects me, and about how much is the fine? Thank you.

 

I got no ticket, there's "N" on both. I was at the weight station for an hour!!, at the beggining the cop seemed rought, but I showed no attitude. I did what I was intructed while he showed me while he was doing the inspection, he then changed and was nice to me. I do think I got lucky, my record is clean. I'm wondering if he notice on my license my DOB, because my birthday is tomorrow, just wondering. Bigkev, I got double lucky today, while I was hooking my empty double I got an air leak in my emergency line!!! Good thing it didn't happen at the scale or while driving. Got it fixed at penske and finished hooking up the doubles. Long day, I'm staying in Idaho for tonight and heading back to Utah tomorrow.

 

How many points per say I'll get, and how long does it stay on your records? Can you clean it, like go to a class and reduce points for being the first offence?
