Missouri also harasses drivers with Christmas decorations on the trucks. Even the candy cane on the grill is a no-no in MO. They claim it distracts other drivers and causes wrecks. Money is the name of the game.

 

just goes to show, trucks really need to watch their arses.

you all say that this is a good industry to get in to. how you all can say that is beyond me. with all the BS we have to deal with.
i hope to find a local job soon. and hopefully never come back out on the road again. it's just not worth the fines and csa.

DOT has no humor or spirit when it comes to trks.Bet they wouldn't say or do anything if a 4wheeler had holiday decorations on their vehicle.

 

I shoud have posted this yesterday, but in between Joplin , Webb City, Carthage and out to home - I saw 4 DOT bears stopped with Dump trucks, grain haulers etc . . . roadside inspections on feeder routes.

I felt bad as I went by with my newly acquired 16 foot trailer behind the pickup that needs quite a bit of work including safety chains, lights and a jack stand, not to mention paint . . . but some days your the dog and other days you're the tree.

 

And what about those drivers with the fangs on the grill? I saw two on this run to seattle. They look embarrassing. Local guys tail gateing.

 

I'm all for celebrating the holidays, it keeps me looking forward to spending time with friends and family, no matter what holiday. Could you imagine what some drivers would do if there were no restrictions to what could be put on a vehicle or how drivers would one up what they had seen done by someone else. Its absolutely ridiculous how some people in and around the St Louis area drive already, hate to give any more reason for the imprudent driving that happens around holiday seasons as well.
