What are interstate hand gun laws?

Wrong, there are no federal regulations on a handgun in a cmv. This has been beat to death on here.
Why is this even in the garage section anyway?

As long as the state you are in recognizes your ccw permit I am under the impression from several things I have read that it is okay , but normally thats the issue . People end up running through states that do not .

That's what I was told. I'll see if I can find it. I have ccw in Ohio but don't carry in my truck. Nor would I, don't want to have to worry bout state laws. If there was a federal law allowing us to for protection or what not id be first to have one

 

Florida CCW is honored in 40 states now, those states I am therefore allowed to conceal carry in my car, truck, bus, boat or MC... That being said, so many companies, shippers and/or receivers will not allow carry of weapons, of course if it's concealed they don't know about it right??? If you get pulled over you open a can of worms also, most LEO's will ask if you are armed or carrying a weapon, if you answer truthfully you may end up staring down his/her side arm and if you lie, well, we know where that would lead I think.

Do NOT EVER cross into Canada with a handgun, from what I have been told you could face serious legal issues there!!

It is called concealed for a reason, don't show it or talk about it in polite company I always say... I've never had a problem but then again I try to never have to deal with LEO's unless absolutely no other choice.... If you don't give them a reason to look then they'll never have to find it....
