I would agree to it if the sensor detected I was ok/alert enough to keep driving past the 11,14,30,and 70 clocks.I generally sleep about he first 5 or 6 hours of my 10 then awake for the next 15 hours ready to sleep again. doesn't fit the mold of what the available hours say keep going but I'm tired and when I 'm ready to go fully rested the rules say I'm too fatigued.
I guess if the sensor detects blood sugar/ alertness lagging, they could have an adrenaline drip IV plugged into the driver or just send mild electric shocks thru the collars as well to perk him up. to get those 'gotta get there' loads on time.
to ensure drivers are sleeping properly, they switch over to a propophol drip bag that will knock them out coma style.
