I'm an exceptionally light MJ user.. And by that I mean maybe a puff or two a month, sometimes less. My last was about 5 days ago and I'm supposed to be flying out to school in 6 more days. An OTC MJ test reported (barely) negative, however I'm still a bit worried. Also, I have a recent prescription for Vicodin after having a lumbar puncture and was wondering, having stopped taking Vicodin a few days back, if it would still show on the screen?
Should I be worried about the DOT's screening being far more sensitive as far as MJ?
Lastly, anyone familiar with Prime know if they do urine or hair testing?-- Recruiter said "yes" when I asked if they pee test, but that's not exactly definitive.
I'm 29 and in relatively good health, though I don't exercise much, if at all. lol

If you come out here and (I guarantee you will be positive. You will be out on the curb on North Glenstone on your butt and on your way home on your own coin.Ditch Doctor Thanks this. -
I think the name of this thread is inaccurate.

You've got a long walk ahead of you if you get on that bus. Do yourself a favor and forget being a commercial driver until you are clean, and can stay clean.
NavigatorWife, PChase, Ditch Doctor and 2 others Thank this. -
If you really plan on using MJ at all you shouldn't be a truck driver. You better not be on Vicodin anymore... as you know those side effects are Drowsiness and mental clouding.
If you test positive ever you'll be out of a job AND it WILL go on your record for everybody to see.
Is that worth those few puffs?
There's a lot of rules in this industry.. they suck.
MJ is legal in a couple states and if you smoke legally on vacation and go back to work and get tested you'll be out of a job.
Does it make sense? no. Does it suck? Yes.
But those are the rules, follow them or just don't even get into this field.Ditch Doctor and PChase Thank this. -
Take this as you want - this industry doesn't need more people who can't think and would rather hide their problems through drugs.
PChase Thanks this. -
Really. Think about. It. 80 k lbs high. Not a good combo. I use to be a user but no way I would touch it now.
PChase Thanks this. -
Also if one has ANY warrants they will introduce you to done fine outstanding people who will let you ( with force if need be) try on some really nifty bracelets ( a matched pair) with a chain in the middle so the pair doesn't get separated.

It's hard enough not to run over the idiot 4 wheelers as is. They just hop in front of you with no regard.
PChase Thanks this. -
To put it into perspective. It's like we drive 70' long 80,000 LB articulated Pintos.
