    Apportioned plates allow you to cross state lines. Combination plates do not? If thats true what do i need to do for one load in another state. Will load in my state, unload in different state, and come back.

    Combination plate can go anywhere within your state.

    Once you cross state lines into another state you will need Apportioned registration and Fuel Permits

    You can buy temporary permits either at port of entries or online.

    Also, your home state will require those permits too when you are coming back in from another state.
