Here is my scenario: On Monday 1:45 AM 10/13/14 I started my 34 hour reset, and I was eligible to return to duty at 5am Wednesday 10/15/14. I shut it down for the week on Monday 10/20/14 at 12:45 AM, but since the 168 hours was over at 1:45 AM, my reset actually started at 1:45 AM which will make me eligible to return to work Wednesday 10/22/14 at 5 AM. My question is, am i eligible for my next restart on Monday 10/27/14 at 12:45 AM (which will make me eligible to work on Tuesday 10/28/14 at 5 AM) or 1:45 AM ( eligible to work again on Wednesday 10/29/14 at 5 AM) ?
question about the one 34 hour reset every 168 hours rule

Nope your stuck at 145 you will always be stuck at that time unless you run recaps and skip a week of resetting

What days are you trying to get your reset to start on? I try to get my restart in while on hometime each week by getting shutdown by 7pm friday night this way the reset is complete by Sunday morning at 5am. That gives me a full clock to run sunday if I need to use it and get to my consignee in order to have a full 10hr break in by monday morning. Then I have a full clock to run all day monday.
Just reject the restart and run recap till you stop for the days you want to take off. Do keep in mind only 1 restart can be taken every 168 hrs. -
