I would never pay the company that employees me a fine, not for this or anything else. This was the only reason I left IWX, which was a very good company to work for , they wanted to fine me for a logbook violation being over hours. Never have never will. Tere dispatchers required you to give them hours available for your driver time and your 70 before dispatching the load.

This kind of action is ripping off the driver. Drivers need to grow some balls and stand up for them selves.

I left a part time job for the same reason, they started that new policy and I left, like you said never have never will.

I don't think he ever said anything about a company fine to a driver, he was looking for administrative fines to the carrier and how they were assessed.

I just got a violation for a 30 minute break not recorded before 8 hours. No fines just violation. How will this affect me and my company??
