What is the violation $$ amount when a log sheet, or multiple log sheets have multiple missing fields, in accordance with 395.8(d)?
What if Carrier name, shipping document #, and total miles driving today are not completed?
I read it is a $650-$1000 offense... per item, so $1950-3000 for 1 day, or just $650-1000 for 1 day... so if every day, there is a missing field, is it 30x1x$650, or 30 days x3 errors per day x $650 violation amount?
Thanks!

Could you be even more of a help, and tell me where in the FMCSA this is located?
-
From my understanding every violation in an 8 day period is $250.00 each. So in your case it would be a total of $750.00. Having said that, I can't find the FMCSR reg but will continue searching.
flwo Thanks this. -
Are we talking about a DOT inspection, or a Citation/ticket?
For an official CVSA level I, II or III inspection, other than CSA points assessed by FMCSA, is there a dollar amount attached to any inspection violation?
For Citation/tickets, each county assesses fine amounts. Check with the particular court.
When you find that FMCSA regulation, post it for me, will you? -
I am doing an inoffice INTERNAL DOT inspection for my company....

Find a lawyer. This happened to me, my violations got reduced to a equipment missing violation and the log book violations were cited incompetent. Lawyer up, save your cdl.

Fine amounts for violations in an audit are determined by the gross sales of the carrier. There are "baseline" fines but they are adjusted per gross sales.
