Yes I'm talking about carb, a friend of mine just bought a new glider with 12.7 Detroit and would like to go to Cali just to get a Taylor Wing put on his truck, he was going to get a load into Cali and get it put on and right back out. He was asking me and I said I would ask yall , I can't find a true answer for him on the ARB web site. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

As long as he's not blowing out black smoke and drawing attention to himself he might be able to sneak in and out.

Yea I know, but I did read on the web site that it was a $10000 per day fine and he don't want to risk it, I thought he was good until the end of this year but I can't find any info for sure

To the best of my knowledge CARB goes by the year of the engine for emissions and since it is 03 and older on the glider engines he would not be able to legally go into Ca. I think that 07 or 08 is the oldest engine available now unless it has been fitted with DPF.

As stated above he could try and sneak in and out but if caught it is a hefty fine.

As stated this is to the best of my knowledge. Hope it helps.

I do believe the above statement is correct. They do go by the engine manufacture date.

I got a Taylor Wing sitting behind the shed, I would give the thing away.
