Scale and weight question

    I have a question I'm newer to driving and my company has a weight limit of 52k instead of 80k what do I need to do to raise this for two days also it's Veterans Day so please keep that in mind I'm trying to get the permits today I thought it was a reciprocity permit I needed but don't know how to get them

    Explain what you mean you have to raise the weight limit?

    AND are you a company driver or a lease operator or what??

    Sorry yes I need to raise the limit it's only 1k more lbs but none the less and I'm a company driver but just a single company driver no other drivers exept me

    3 states away ya there's 5 scales on the way my weight is 52500lbs

    Are you're driving for an owner operator?Also can you explain why you want to raise the weight, what is wrong with 52k?Ok think I know what you mean,you're only 500 lbs over I don't think the dot will say anything.Maybe try moving your tandems or fifthwheel.

    I work for a construction company hauling our materials to our sites I need to raise it temporarily to take this full load in one trip otherwise my company wastes time and money with 2 trips from Nashville to western nebraska

    you are permit for 52?..and it weighs 52,500?

    Yeah..you better park n wait for a permit..better safe/legal than sorry..LoL(snicker)
