I've done my absolute best to understand split sleeper but I can't figure out how the hours work after you complete the 2 hour break.

in my current situation, I have 3:34 left on drive line. I started my 14 at 11/24 22:32. I can take 8 hours in sleeper starting at 11/25 0648, which adjusts the start of my 14 to (I have no clue when) then based on my understanding I should be able to run that 3:34. So, if I drive 2:30 to my next pickup, ill have 1:14 left. If I take a 2 hour break there, what should I expect to see back regarding my 14 and 11? Assume no on duty not driving time has been consumed off of the 14.

Split sleeper only works for unused hours on the clock. Like of you are held up at shipper or receiver

Yeah I know gunners information is not totally accurate. In all honesty I shouldn't need to post a pic of anything in order to get the split sleeper explained for this situation. I am already about to crash out so I'll post the pics later.

Looking at your times and trying to calculate is too much for my morning head. But the rule as I understand it for splitting your 10 is:
Your you take your 8 hour break the 14 hour clock is reset. Your 11 continues. SO you then can drive your 3:34 to finish your eleven or as you say 2:50 and have 0:44.
The 14 hour clock continues to tick from your 8 hour break. If you take a two hour break while after
driving to your next load. That will reset your 11hour driving clock. But it does not reset your 14 you can only reset that with an 8 hour or 10 hour break.

We can use round numbers. Say I started my 14 at exactly midnight. I drove 8 hours, and spent one hour off duty. I start my 8 hour sleeper break at 0900. At this time, I have 3 hours left that I can drive and 5 hours left on my 14.

When I finish my 8 hour sleeper at 1700, I would like to know this:

At what time does the start of my 14 get "moved" to?

My understanding of the rule says that I will be able to use them last 3 hours of drive time before I have to take the 2 hour break to complete the split sleeper rule. However, after the 8 hour sleeper break, I do not know the time of day the start of my 14 gets "moved" to.

Next. If I begin driving right at 1700, and stop at 2000, I have to take a 2 hour break to finish the sleeper rule. So I do that. At 2200, what would I have available on my 11 and 14?

Generally speaking the split sleeper will work to your advantage, if you're 14hr clock is below your drive clock. Let's say your clock looks like, 5 drive, 2 on your 14 when you shut down. At the end of an 8 you should have automatically regained your 5 hrs plus approx 2 more= 7 hrs drive and approx 10 on your 14.
